I saw my friend Amina, from Minaret, a few weeks ago at Huntingdale mousque and we started talking.

Me: "So, Whatcha doin' with your life?"
Anima: "Oh nothing much. Im writing fanfiction"
Me: "Whats that?"
Amina: "Oh its when- " *Proceeds to explain what is fanfiction*
Me: *Listening with confounded fascination*

so Im gonna explain what is fanfiction.

Have you ever wondered what happens after you read a book, watch a movie, or played a game? Even watched a whole series of Anime?

Fanfiction is for you.

Fanfiction is a genre of writing, that makes up a story with the characters, or setting, or plot of a book, movie, anime or game.

For Example:

Harry Potter: You can make up anything. in fact there are just so many stories (364,796 actually and more obviously at other sites) its amazing. there are so many stories because of the "Next Generation". You know, Harry and Ginny's sons and Ron and Hermoine's daughter Rose and Malfoys son Scorpius. there are a huge heap of pairings, mostly roseXscorpius and some are just ridiculous. Like Rose getting Pregnant!!!! Its crazy, but people still write it. Also i read one about Draco Malfoy being GAY with Harry Potter....It just made me choke. but its funny.

Twilight: I know everyone loves this book, and the series still isnt finished (Just don't stop writing Stephanie!!!), but people have written thousands (29,405) of fanfics on this. In some of them Edward is actually human!!! In some of them Bella gets pregnant!!! (sheesh whats up with the whole pregnant thing man) Its just totally crazy. But some of them are really good.

Naruto: Naruto is meant to be with Hinata, but some of the fanfics are totally out of whack. Like Naruto and Ino, and Naruto and TenTen, even Naruto and Rock Lee!!!! I was rolling on the floor laughing. just imagine that. anyways i was totally freaked out, but i read some and i suppose they were good, but the thing is i havent finished watching the series, so cant be bothered.


ok i'm getting lazy now, so please just check it out. There are just so many, for so many books and movies and etc, you'll find what you like, coz there are some exceptionally talented writers out there and it'll make your eyes pop, and wish it was a real book.

Even you can write your own fanfic. About anything. Gossip Girl, She's The Man, Alex Rider, Bleach, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Holes, Your own version of a classic fairytale. Seriously its up to you. I think the main point of having Fanfiction, is to express yourself and let your imagination go absolutely WILD. the more wild, the better.
